Operational Sustainability
Waste generated during operations is sorted and recycled according to city waste management guidelines. We monitor our environmental impact, including recycling rates, waste amounts, and our carbon footprint, at each service center.
Chemicals are handled and stored in designated areas, and the functionality of oil separators is regularly inspected. Chemicals are labeled, and a list of them along with safety data sheets is maintained in a designated application. All hazardous materials are properly sorted and recycled.
Producing Environmentally Significant Service Solutions
We strive to develop service solutions that support the circular economy for our customers. For example, we offer warranty-refurbished replacement devices, allowing us to utilize the full lifecycle of devices instead of acquiring new ones. Additionally, our services include the Flowbase exchange device network, which reduces the total number of backup devices needed in storage.

We focus on proactive maintenance in our services, which helps extend the life of existing devices and reduces the need for new purchases, thereby lowering environmental impact. Our expertise assists customers in procuring sustainable materials and products for repairs. Usage conditions are surveyed, and methods to improve the wear resistance of parts are applied.

Safety as the Foundation of Our Work
We aim to secure and improve the occupational safety of our staff and customers through active safety work. Our primary goal is zero accidents. We monitor the number of Lost Time Injury Frequency (LTIF) and the Total Recordable Injury Frequency (TRIF) on a monthly basis. Our annual safety goals are supported by the use of a comprehensive occupational safety application, minimum standards for protective equipment, thorough onboarding, necessary additional training and certifications, and the use of the 5S system. All our technicians hold valid occupational safety and hot work cards. We are a company that cares about both our customers and our employees.
We Support Children’s and Youth Sports Activities
Flowplus Oy supports children’s and youth sports activities across Finland. Each year, we sponsor several organizations that responsibly promote young people’s well-being and bring joy to many children and youth.
