HUMAN RIGHTS

Flowplus does not accept any work that violates laws or collective agreement. Employees cannot be subjected to wage slavery, forced labor, or anything resembling human trafficking. Employees are not required to make advance payments, deposits, or hand over personal identification documents to their employer. Flowplus does not endorse the use of child labor in violation of laws and collective agreement. For example, individuals under 18 cannot perform tasks that endanger their health and safety. Flowplus supports education and completion of schooling for all.

All forms of discrimination are prohibited at Flowplus, and we strive to promote equality. Employees are always treated equitably. Everyone should have the opportunity to be themselves, regardless of race, religion, ethnic origin, age, disability, gender, marital status, pregnancy, parenthood, sexual orientation, union membership, or political opinion. All individuals are treated respectfully and with appreciation for their humanity at Flowplus. We expect the same attitude from our partners and other stakeholders.

Physical and mental abuse, punishment, threats, sexual or any other form of harassment are strictly prohibited. Flowplus has a zero-tolerance policy for such behavior and addresses it immediately. Bullying includes inhumane treatment, harassment, and belittling in all forms.

Harassment and inappropriate treatment involve repeatedly behaving irresponsibly in violation of good manners or the law, which can endanger the employee’s mental or physical health. The employer’s obligation is to ensure healthy and safe working conditions for their personnel and promptly address any harassment or inappropriate treatment using available means (Occupational Safety and Health Act 23.8.2002/738 18§ and 28§).

EMPLOYEE RIGHTS

At Flowplus, employment is based on a written employment contract in accordance with national laws and practices. All employees have the right to a written employment contract that they understand. Wages and benefits paid by Flowplus are always in line with legislation and collective agreement. Salary-related matters must be known before the employment begins and can be found in the employment contract. All disciplinary actions are recorded in the Mepco system, which can include verbal or written warnings. Salary reduction is not used as a disciplinary action.

Working hours are based on agreed-upon terms and comply with legislation and the applicable collective agreement. Overtime is based on prior agreement to ease peak workloads or other exceptional situations. Compensation for overtime is based on legislation and is in line with the collective agreement. Flowplus employees have the right to join a trade union.

Flowplus aims to provide a safe and health-promoting work environment. Occupational safety is a key concern at Flowplus, always taken seriously. Conditions and work practices are developed in collaboration with the personnel to ensure safety.

BUSINESS

Flowplus is committed to complying with all laws and regulations in all activities. Changes in legislation are monitored and responded to as necessary. All Flowplus employees adhere to company guidelines, as current laws, and collective agreements. Flowplus supports fair competition and, under no circumstances, accepts dishonest practices to succeed in competition or closing deals. The company is committed to adhering to applicable Competition legislation. Flowplus as a company and its employees may not engage in any illegal activities to restrict competition.
Flowplus does not accept bribery or corruption in any form. Flowplus employees are not allowed to give or receive direct or indirect gifts, rewards, or other benefits that may affect business or business decisions. Employees may give or receive personal gifts, hospitality, or other benefits with nominal value if they comply with laws and regulations.

Employees are required to be loyal to Flowplus. Employees must avoid situations that could result in conflicts of interest. Conflict of interest situations can take various forms, and benefits may be financial or other personal advantages. Fraudulent activity is prohibited, and serious offenses are reported to authorities.

Flowplus treats all employees, customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders fairly and engages in constructive cooperation with them. Flowplus respects its contractual obligations. Flowplus reviews and assesses subcontractors and stakeholders to ensure their quality operations.

ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITY

Flowplus aims to reduce environmental impact, operate in accordance with laws and regulations, and consider environmental aspects as much as possible. The company seeks to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Flowplus wants to reduce energy and material waste in line with circular economy principles. Flowplus aims to contribute better solutions for water and waste management. All chemicals and hazardous substances are handled and disposed of properly.

Flowplus constantly works towards better quality and ensures that customers always receive quality service.

COMMUNICATION

Flowplus communication is open, transparent, and always based on facts. However, confidential, contractually confidential, or competition-related aspects may limit open and transparent communication. Flowplus protects and handles confidential information and materials carefully. Employees must not exploit confidential information for their own benefit or anyone other than Flowplus. Flowplus takes information security and data protection seriously and strives to prevent any risks.
